Hot Wheels Review: All About Hot Wheels

The most comprehensive hot wheels review and guide from collectors to collectors

Amazing… just last weekend when I go out shopping for stuffs, I found a $uper T-hunt Classic Packard. I’m surprise to see the Classic Packard wave still around… Can’t complaint much. Just grab it along with another pink window VW Scirocco. That must be my lucky day!

Hi hotwheelers… Sorry for the long absence at this blog. Today I want to share with you all my first Drag Bus. Got it on a trade all the way from Canada. Designed by Phil Riehlman. First appeared in the First Edition line in the year 1996. It was an instant hit. Over the years, this casting get the treatment of special editions, mail-ins, RLC/HWC and limited editions… not to mention the Employees Drag Bus which easily reach USD 300 on a normal day. Nonetheless, enjoy the picture.

Today while I’m browsing hwcmalaysia.com message board, I came across this information posted by one of the member there >>> Atomkinder.

“Hey Collectors,

I mentioned this to some of you while at the
convention in April, but in case this hasn’t gotten out to everyone, I figured I’d update everyone on the Int’l New Model – Citroen Rally.

This car was produced and made available in one color in the short card as well as the 4 language long-card that is usually found at Grocery and Drug stores. Unfortunately, it has not yet been produced in the normal domestic long card as an All Star in the 10 series of 10 cars and as a deco+ in Speed Machines. Midway through production, we came under a contract conflict with Citroen that has yet to be resolved. For all you completionist out there, we are doing what we can to get this car out in the domestic blister card even though it is available in the 4 language
card. Do note that we will have the 4 language card in the 2010 master set. It is very possible that we will no longer produce this car.

I thought I’d give everyone the heads-up despite the not-so-great news.

HWC

Credit to Atomkinder for the news. So folks, you’ve heard it from the the moderator at HWC himself. It is not confirm that this casting will be available in the future or not. Hope Mattel can settle the conflict with Citroen… but if, the conflict not solve, this maybe the last time we see this casting Citroen C4 Rally. So, grab one the second you saw it on shelf. Be it, the international card, short card or the Speed Machines (which might not make it) line. You might regret it if you don’t. Here’s some pics of the 2010 HW Premiere Citroen C4 Rally.
